Opening next week is a new cocktail bar by the same minds that opened Paris’ (best) taqueria in the Marais two years ago, Candelaria. Opening in the northern part of the 9th arrondissement, fondly called SoPi (South Pigalle), Glass is sure to impress. Opening party starting at 7pm on Tuesday, September 25th- also the first day of Paris Fashion Week. Let the parties begin!
Candelaria is known for their super cocktail menu and cozy back-room bar. Expect to find equally amazing cocktails at Glass, along with Brooklyn Brewery beers, plus cocktails and beers TO GO (God, I love France.)
How cool is this- sneak preview the tunes they’ll be playing via the Glass playlist on Peachr.
Instrumental in making Pigalle a nightlife destination, Glass has been open now for a few months. Last night was technically their official opening, celebrated with the installation of their iconic ‘glass’ floor and décor/costumes for the staff created by The House that Jack Built. Created by a custom glass maker, the colored panels in the floor light up in rhythm with the music. They also inaugurated a new set of cocktails- my personal favorite, the FORTY-NINER: rye whiskey, miel de fleurs, thym serpolet, citron jaune, ginger ale. Délicieux !
